This customer suffers from arthritis in her fingers and after many years of wearing her wedding band, she can no longer fit it over her knuckles. The brief was to design and make a ring comfortable for her, she is an avid tennis player and sometimes wants to take the ring off her hand. I designed and made this ring which has tiny titanium springs within the ring so it stretches to expand slightly to fit it over the knuckles of the customer and then regains its shape to sit snuggly on her finger.
