Whether it is designing from a blank piece of paper, from an existing family stone or remodeling a dated jewel, Babette will create original pieces that correspond to your brief, taste and budget.

Perhaps you have recently got engaged and are looking for an individual design for your engagement ring. There may be a special birthday approaching where you wish to spoil the man in your life with a custom made pair of 18 carat gold cufflinks? Or a landmark anniversary with a very special eternity ring made from rose gold and diamonds.
Every single piece of Babette Wasserman bespoke jewellery is designed and made individually for you, to fit your personal style and budget. It’s always preferable to meet in person, but over the telephone and email is fine too.
1. THE CREATIVE PROCESS
We will start with an initial consultation. Meet with Babette to discuss your design, she will sketch ideas for you and will advise on technical specifications. Please bring with you any jewels you wish to have remodelled or stones you would like set into a brand new design. It is helpful if you have a budget in mind, but if not, we can guide you and advise on costs.
2. THE FINAL DESIGN
Babette will present you with a selection of ideas to choose from. These can be modified and altered according to your feedback and preferences. The selected design will then be turned into a technical drawing. Babette will personally source the most exquisite assortment of stones for you to choose from, based on the design and your budget preferences. Gems for your piece can include unique cuts or high value precious coloured stones as well as Natural or Lab Grown diamonds which are available in an array of shapes and sizes. Our expertise spans a whole variety of metals, including platinum, yellow gold, rose gold or white gold.
3. HAND CRAFTING YOUR PIECE
We will start making your jewel once the design and quote have been approved. We will take an initial deposit at this stage of 50% of the total amount. The making of your piece will be undertaken by our expert goldsmiths.
As each piece is as individual as the precious stones we use, the production time may be 6-8 weeks however for detailed pieces it maybe longer. So we encourage you to allow plenty of time.
4. COLLECTING YOUR JEWEL
Your design will come packaged in a Babette Wasserman signature purple presentation box, ribbon and gift bag. We will get in touch with you as soon as your piece is ready for you to collect. We are happy to deliver your piece anywhere in the world by secure courier if you are unable to visit us. Only at this point would we request the final balance when collecting or before shipping. Every Babette Wasserman jewel is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity which will detail all the elements that make up your unique jewel.
