The customer wanted a ring and earrings that can be worn together but not necessarily matching. The design brief was for this set to be contemporary in look but timeless so that the client could wear the pieces every day if she wanted or dress up for a special occasion. I sourced a stunning 3.24 carat Ceylon Blue Sapphire which I set sideways and set in a halo of high quality natural diamonds in 18 carat white gold. The earrings are pear shaped and match the ring in colour with small blue sapphires and a contour of diamonds set in white gold.
