MADE FOR YOUR STORY
A one-of-a-kind ring, created for a one-of-a-kind love story.
Choosing an engagement ring is an exciting and important decision. Whether you have a clear vision or do not know where to begin, Babette will help you create a ring that feels uniquely right. From selecting the perfect diamond or coloured gemstone to refining the setting, proportions and precious metal, your bespoke engagement ring will be designed around your personal style and budget, then handcrafted by expert goldsmiths
DESIGN YOUR OWN ENGAGEMENT RING
A bespoke engagement ring gives you the freedom to create something truly individual rather than choosing an existing design. Your ring might be timeless and understated, bold and contemporary, inspired by a vintage jewel or developed around a stone with special meaning.
Babette will listen to your ideas, sketch original concepts and offer practical guidance on the design and technical details. Every ring is created individually, allowing its stone, setting and proportions to be tailored to the wearer.

NATURAL DIAMONDS, LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS AND COLOURED GEMSTONES
Babette can personally source a selection of natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and precious coloured gemstones to suit your design and budget.
Explore diamonds in a variety of shapes and sizes, including round, oval, cushion and emerald cuts, as well as more unusual cuts for a distinctive design. Alternatively, a sapphire, emerald or another coloured gemstone can bring individuality, symbolism and colour to your ring. Coloured stones can be used alone, surrounded by diamonds or incorporated into an entirely original composition.
AN ENGAGEMENT RING TO SUIT YOUR STYLE
From refined solitaire rings to sculptural, diamond-set and vintage-inspired designs, your engagement ring can be developed around the aesthetic you love. It can be crafted in platinum, yellow gold, white gold or rose gold, with Babette advising on the metal and setting best suited to your chosen stone.
Your ring can also be designed with a future wedding band in mind. The two rings might sit neatly side by side, interlock or follow one another’s contours, creating a comfortable and beautifully balanced bridal set.
HEIRLOOM AND REMODELLED ENGAGEMENT RINGS
If you have inherited a diamond, gemstone or dated piece of jewellery, Babette can explore transforming it into a new engagement ring. The design can preserve the sentimental importance of the original jewel while giving it a setting that reflects the wearer’s personal style.
Bring your existing stone or jewellery to your consultation so Babette can consider its condition and creative possibilities.

FAQ
How much does a bespoke engagement ring cost?
How long does it take to make a bespoke engagement ring?
Production generally takes six to eight weeks after the design and quotation have been approved. Intricate pieces may take longer, so it is best to begin the process well ahead of your intended proposal.
Should I choose a natural or lab-grown diamond?
Both can be used in a bespoke engagement ring. Your choice may depend on your priorities, preferred stone size, budget and personal values. Babette can source examples and help you compare the options.
Can I choose a coloured gemstone instead of a diamond?
Yes. Precious coloured gemstones such as sapphires, emeralds and rubies can be incorporated into an original engagement ring design, either as the central stone or alongside diamonds.
Can you use my own diamond or inherited gemstone?
Yes. An existing family stone or dated jewel can be considered for remodelling. Bring it to your consultation so Babette can assess it and discuss suitable design possibilities.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
Not at all. Your consultation is an opportunity to explore ideas. Babette will guide you through stones, metals, proportions and design options before developing a selection of sketches.
How do I find the right engagement ring size?
If you know your partner’s ring size, you can refer to our Ring Size Guide or bring us a ring they already wear on the correct finger. If the proposal is a surprise or you are unsure, Babette can advise on discreet ways to estimate the size. As resizing options depend on the ring’s design, setting and materials, this will be considered when creating your bespoke ring.
